If you urgently need medical attention outside normal working hours, please telephone Belfast (028) 9079 6220. This number will take you through to SEBDOC (South East Belfast Doctors on Call). This is an organisation used by the Health Board to provide emergency services.

The Centre Base is just opposite Forest Side Shopping Complex in the Doctors Out of Hours Bungalow which is based in Foster Green Hospital. A Receptionist will answer the telephone and take details and then you will either be put straight through to the Doctor or the Doctor will telephone you back when he or she is free. The Doctor will then decide, after consultation with yourself, whether to give advice, invite you to come to the Out of Hours Centre or visit you at home. Sometimes the doctor will advise that you go directly to the Accident & Emergency Department of a hospital. In cases of emergency an ambulance might be ordered by the doctor.
